Community Goals

Based on feedback at language planning session one, our Steering Committee developed three broad community goals which would help to include all Kahnawa’kehró:non in language planning and revitalization. At session two on January 18, 2018, participants were invited to give suggestions on how the larger community could reach these goals.

Skátne Enionkwaió’ten community language planning is a community initiative that supports Indigenous language revitalization and language reclamation efforts (Onkwehonwehnéha / Kanien’kéha) in Kahnawà:ke Mohawk Territory.
